As a practicing member of the Massachusetts Bar Association for over 33 years, Michael is the most qualified person to be Register of Probate. He has the knowledge, skills, and compassion to manage the multiple duties and responsibilities to make the residents of Norfolk County proud of their Family Court system. Michael will be honored to serve as Register and will build collaboration among staff, balance the budget during tough economic times, create innovative programs, and respectfully welcome all who work at and visit the Court, including judges, attorneys, and the general public.
Michael has been representing individuals in his law practice, where he focuses on helping those injured at work and securing Social Security disability benefits for those who have never had a lawyer, or often not been inside a courthouse. As a solo practitioner, he has been to the Probate Court many times and fully understands the changes that need to be made. He is friendly, easy to speak with, a good listener, and knows how to reassure people during some of the most challenging times of life.
"As Register for Norfolk County, I will be available and accessible for all 28 communities, from Brookline to Bellingham. I will make sure people know and understand what the Probate Court does and be ready to serve the needs of every visitor every day, said Walsh."
